Tucked deep in the countryside along the Nishikigawa Seiryu Line, Seiryu Miharashi Station is an extraordinary stop with no roads, paths, or pedestrian exits leading into town. Opened exclusively as a scenic observation platform, the station allows train passengers to step out onto a cliffside deck directly overlooking the pristine Nishiki River gorge. Because there is no road access, the entire platform had to be constructed using materials brought in strictly by rail. For train enthusiasts and offbeat explorers, it offers a delightfully quirky and peaceful pause in the heart of rural Yamaguchi.
