奥村進 via Google Maps

Set in the scenic hills west of downtown Toyama, the Toyama Folkcraft Village is a delightful cluster of small museums dedicated to regional arts, crafts, and rural heritage. Visitors can wander among picturesque historic structures, including relocated gassho-zukuri farmhouses reminiscent of nearby Gokayama. Inside, thoughtful exhibits showcase traditional pottery, woodworking, and folk arts from bygone eras. The tranquil village grounds also border Chokeiji Temple, renowned for its hillside path lined with 500 expressive stone rakan statues.
