Located in Sumida, Takagi Shrine is dedicated to the creation deity Takami-Musubi, making it a beloved sanctuary for seeking romantic connections and fateful good fortune. Playing on the word *omusubi* (rice ball), the shrine grounds are delightfully adorned with adorable onigiri amulets, prayer plaques, and painted stone pebbles tucked into the mouths of guardian statues. Despite its lighthearted, cute aesthetic today, the site traces its roots back to 1468 when it was originally established in connection with the formidable "Devil King of the Sixth Heaven." Visitors can hunt for charming rice-ball Easter eggs hidden across the courtyard and collect a special goshuin stamp complete with a lucky stone to take home.
