Asagaya Pearl Center has served as the welcoming heart of its neighborhood for more than 60 years. Spanning roughly 700 meters, this vibrant covered shotengai earned its name from the way its winding path resembles a string of pearls on a map. Visitors can wander past an eclectic mix of traditional confectioneries, bustling street-food stalls, retro cafes, and daily mom-and-pop shops. It offers a wonderfully authentic glimpse into Tokyo's nostalgic everyday life, rain or shine.
