Established in 1989, Takikawa Sky Park is one of Japan’s foremost centers for gliders and aerial sports, drawing pilots from across the globe. Visitors can tour the Sky Museum hangar to admire vintage aircraft or book a scenic tandem glider flight soaring high above rolling canola fields and river marshes. The surrounding riverside park grounds also feature paved walking paths perfect for watching gliders silently launch and land.
