Designed by visionary artist Isamu Noguchi, Moerenuma Park transforms a four-kilometer expanse of marshland into a living, monumental sculpture. Visitors can marvel at the iconic glass pyramid housing an art gallery, wander among 3,000 blooming cherry trees, and watch dramatic man-made geysers erupt against sculpted green hills. In the summer, the grounds are best explored by rental bicycle, while the snowy winter turns the sculpted terrain into a paradise for sledding and cross-country skiing. It stands as an awe-inspiring union of bold geometric architecture and dynamic Hokkaido nature.
