Sprawled across rolling hills in the Chichibu region, Hitsujiyama Park is renowned for its magnificent fields of shibazakura, or pink moss. Typically blooming from late April to early May, hundreds of thousands of blossoms form sweeping geometric patterns beneath the scenic backdrop of Mount Buko. Meandering pathways allow visitors to wander right through the fragrant carpets of vibrant color. It stands as one of the Kanto region's most celebrated spring flower spectacles, drawing sightseers and photographers from all over.
