Tucked away in Osaka Prefecture, Shinodanomori Shrine stands on the historic grounds of a mystical forest immortalized in classical Kabuki plays. According to legend, this sacred grove was the home of Kuzunoha, a benevolent kitsune who assumed human form to marry a nobleman and birth the great onmyōji sorcerer Abe no Seimei.
