Ribbon Chapel

Aoogle via Google Maps

Designed by acclaimed architect Hiroshi Nakamura, this ethereal wedding chapel stands on a coastal bluff, twisting toward the sky like two ribbons coming together. The twin spiral staircases wrap around each other to form both the structural support and roof before seamlessly converging at a scenic rooftop summit. Natural light floods through expansive glass panels into the minimalist interior, creating an atmosphere that is both spiritually uplifting and visually striking. It is one of Japan's most poetic works of modern architecture, blending avant-garde design with panoramic seaside vistas.
