Formed by ancient underground streams, the Abukuma-do Caves feature an accessible 800-meter walkway through massive limestone chambers glowing in striking shades of blue, green, and pink. Visitors can marvel at majestic stalactites, towering mineral columns like the Silver Frost, and exceptionally rare geological boxwork formations. In the winter months, scenic frozen waterfalls grace the cave entrance, making the journey to the subterranean world even more enchanting. After exploring the caverns, cross the nearby bridge to gaze at the cosmos from the Star Village observatory and planetarium.
