Built in 1919 by prominent businessman Kenichi Fujita, the Fujita Memorial Garden is one of northern Japan's most enchanting traditional landscape gardens. The expansive grounds are gracefully divided into an upper garden featuring historic Taisho-era architecture and a lower stroll garden framed by ponds, waterfalls, and peaceful walking paths. Visitors can meander along scenic stone trails, take in stunning seasonal blooms, and relax with tea overlooking the pristine grounds. It makes for an exceptionally serene stop just moments away from the historic Hirosaki Castle.
